STRA EVACUATION

The NSW Government has introduced the Short Term Rental Accommodation (STRA) Fire Safety Standards.
This requires property owners to have compliant evacuation diagrams, smoke and heat alarms

The STRA states you are required to have a diagram at the
entrance to your property and in all bedrooms.

We will provide your evacuation plans from either a building floor plan or mud map, in consultation with you we add the essential criteria such as; fire equipment, exit paths and ‘You Are Here” Indicator.
Once approved we can install the diagrams or supply them at a reduced cost for you to install.

STRA SMOKE AND HEAT ALARMS
FIreSafe Services NSW uses competent Fire Safety Practitioners (CFSP) to consult, supply and install smoke and heat alarms that comply with Australian Standard AS3786.
We can locate and test each of your smoke and/or heat alarms and confirm they are positioned correctly. The STRA states they must be located in every hallway associated with a bedroom and on every other story in the dwelling. These smoke alarms must be interconnected with either main electricity or a 10 year lithium battery.
STRA PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND BLANKETS
We can offer fire equipment to compliment the requirements of the STRA which will provide your tenants with the highest level of safety.
